I feel proud to welcome you all in the 4th International Exhibition on Dairy, Aqua and Pet-2018, a mega and magnificent show both in quantity and quality on dairy, aqua and pet ever held in Bangladesh. On the other hand one should appreciate the commitment of AHCAB members to organize such a biennial event for farmers, entrepreneurs, scientist and educationist to share and exchange their views with their international counters.

Dairy sector of Bangladesh is playing an imperative role in Bangladesh Economy. Country is producing milk though that meets very minimum of local demand but private and government together initiation can boost it up. AHCAB is here as a representative of private community to rejuvenate this sector with appropriate technology to fulfill the gap of the country.

Aqua sector is also playing a very important role in Bangladesh. We are earning a lot of foreign currency from shrimp export. As demand for fish is increasing throughout the world, we can explore this great opportunity through intensive farming. 

I firmly believe that this biennial IEDAP, a knowledge and technology park for both domestic and international dairy and aqua farmers and development organizations, would further expose the horizon of latest technologies and opportunities.

Finally I sincerely express my regard and gratitude to university teachers, researchers, the members of AHCAB, partner organizations, government agencies, media, education institutions and all the participants, visitors, well-wishers and whoever present or could not attend. The AHCAB is firmly committed to better future. I wish a grand success of this IEDAP-2018.
